Piquillo

Piquillo is a cosy suite with many of the same personal touches that make Shy Cottage so special.  

Piquillo faces onto a delightful courtyard with a large fish pond.  The private entrance is via a small courtyard with outdoor furniture and full sized gas-fired barbecue.

Piquillo features includes

• Deeply comfortable queen-sized bed with luxurious linen.   

• Seating area with a comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, CD player, library of books, recent magazines, and a range of games and puzzles

• Antique dining table for two

• Compact kitchen with fridge and microwave, with L'Affare coffee beans, Twinings loose tea and teabags, a cookie jar, a range of cereals including Deirdre's homemade muesli, and breakfast supplies (see below)

• Bathroom with shower, luxurious towels, bathrobes and toiletries from Les Floralies

The Famous Breakfasts

Your stay at Piquillo includes a full continental breakfast including locally made French pastries and Pat's sourdough bread. Your bakery basket is delivered with your daily or Sunday paper through a slot in the kitchen so you are not disturbed. The smell of delicious pastries wafts it way to your room - what a wonderful way to start the day.

If you are teaming up with friends at Shy Cottage, then you can share a cooked breakfast with them.
